Blinds is a performance installation that investigates the suspicion dominating human interaction as a government calls upon its citizens to watch, monitor, and report on each other. The two wooden boxes that sit atop six-and-a-half foot towers of scaffolding conjure images of the urban environment, a construction site, or childhood tree houses. Viewers are called upon to climb into the elevated spaces to observe and record their observations of others from the window.
